Annelise Gill-Wiehl

Annelise is a post-doc studying the health and climate impacts of clean fuel transitions in low- and middle- income countries using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Underlying each of her research questions is a focus on gender, equity and environmental justice. In her previous work, she led an RCT studying microsavings to increase LPG consumption in rural Tanzania. She is excited to contribute to (1) the continued evaluation of GRAPHS, (2) establishing a deeper understanding of clean fuel affordability, and (3) mapping out policy measures in order to avert devastating health and climate impacts. When not studying clean fuel transitions, Annelise enjoys long distance running, walking her Yorkie, and drinking coffee.
